The official visitor information describes road access via the Arve valley and Sallanches. Use that broad approach to plan your arrival, then ask your accommodation for its preferred final route. A navigation pin may not distinguish a guest entrance from a service road or a steep private driveway.
A village stay with fewer car movements
Megève offers local shuttles linking areas such as Rochebrune, Jaillet and Mont d’Arbois, with routes depending on the season. Think about where the car adds value to your trip: the longer arrival, an outing or onward travel. It need not accompany every movement during the village part of your stay.
