The peninsula is not one access zone

A property in Colombare and a hotel beyond the castle do not create the same arrival. The historic centre has restricted access and pedestrian periods. Consult the current official arrangements rather than assuming a hotel booking permits an unrestricted drive to its door.

Use the lake as your wider itinerary

A stay in Sirmione can leave space for Desenzano or a separate day in Verona. Avoid filling every day with a complete tour of the lake. Agree a parking base and choose a few outings that make the rental worthwhile for your particular holiday.

Ask your accommodation about its current parking and luggage procedure. Official visitor guidance identifies parking outside the historic core, with specific services for some hotel guests; these arrangements must be checked directly.

Meeting point

Request an accessible location for vehicle handover, giving the property's entrance instructions. The castle bridge or a pedestrian street should not be assumed to be a permissible meeting point.

Can I drive into the historic centre?

Only when the applicable rules and permissions allow it. Access conditions and pedestrian periods can change; verify the current procedure with your accommodation and the official local guidance before entry.

Can I request the car for only part of my stay?

Yes. Tell ADM which days involve road journeys, together with your preferred collection and return addresses. The proposed service and vehicle availability are then assessed individually.
